Blog II: Summer B

For your second blog, you are to make a video or do a write up on a video you would make.  You have complete freedom to make any video you want as long as it is appropriate for class.  (Try to keep things at a PG-13 level with a trace of R.)  Do not forget to remember your audience.
As for length, you should have at least two minutes recorded.  Once you do the video, please list the different readers of your video (Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary, along with the political, ethical, economic, and physical contexts—if any.
Those of you not making a video, you have to write two paragraphs.  The first paragraph explains the video you are making.  The second paragraph should discuss the different readers and PEPE.
Have some fun with this project.  Remember, it is possible to turn this into a money-making opportunity.
Best of luck.

Blog I: Summer B

Blog I: Summer B
Having been promoted from intern to custodial engineer in a large firm, you spend your days cleaning offices.   You keep thinking about climbing the company ladder; sooner or later, you will ascend to the firm's paramount—an entry position in the mail room.  Striving for comfortable mediocrity never felt so good.  Dreaming and settling for less prevents the pain of not getting something good you want, so you think.
However, one day, as the late afternoon sun rays slide through the thick blinds, you notice a piece of crumbled paper on the floor.  You restore the document to a readable state.  You notice that it reveals a sinister plot to sell company secrets to a competitor.  Of course, being human, you ponder the possibilities of gaining from this information.  After all, overcoming mediocrity without effort makes success less elusive.  In fact, it's just exchanging one mediocrity for another.
Still, a pang of morality shoots through your heavy thoughts.   What might be the consequences of your actions?
You decide to dictate your thoughts and decision to your Smartphone.
For this first blog post, you are to write what you would say in the message.  After that you are to identify the different readers of your voice over.   Best of luck.
