Blog III: Fall 2018
Blog III: Summer 2018
For
this blog, propose a website you would design, thinking about what we
have learned designing websites in class. As you propose a write-up of
your website, please answer the following questions:
(1)What is your website about? What is its purpose? Who are the different readers (primary, secondary, and tertiary).
(2) Does your website contain any of the social contexts----(PEPE).
(3)
Summarize what your website would look like? For example, you could
talk about the home page or the content found on the other pages.
This should be at least two paragraphs. Let me know if you have any questions.

Blog II: Career Choices
Think about a career you want after finishing school. Now, I know some of you indicated unease about picking a direction this early; however, you will be starting the cover letter and resume assignment in a week. It would be a good idea to start researching an occupation. For this blog, please answer the following questions in two paragraphs:
I. What is the job? Describe the daily tasks, even hours, if applicable.
II. What are the qualifications (degree, certifications, special classes) required?
III. What is the annual income and does it cover your needs?

Fall 2018: Blog I
Class,
For your first blog, please consider how you would handle a complaint letter for a product. This blog is akin to your memo or letter assignment, meaning you have to provide a sample of your response to amend the complaint. Please answer the following questions:
1. What is your product and how might it malfunction?
2. Who are the primary, secondary, and tertiary readers of your product?
3. What will you offer in return to the customer? A refund? An exchange?
Lastly, please include a paragraph sample response to this complaint. Keep in mind, you do not have to give into the complaint. You can write a refusal, if you so desire.
