You are in a leadership position and need to send an emailed announcement to your staff. The position and content of the message can be of your choice; however, make sure you follow these guidelines when doing your message:
I. Address the email to your group.
II. Maintain a mature tone and use professional language throughout the message.
III. The message should concern a request. Examples: Achieve better results, increase productivity, or improve morale.
IV. The message should be at least two paragraphs. Start with the introduction and get to the main point within the first sentence. From there, write about the situation triggering the request in the first paragraph. In the second paragraph, please include the reason to implement the request. Conclude with positive reinforcement and place your name under the message.
After writing the message, please list the primary, secondary, and tertiary readers of your document.
